About Our New Shop

These are the pictures of our new building at 387 Park Ave, Worcester, MA. We have been leasing since 1992 and now we own our own building! These pictures show the amazing transformation from start to finish. We bought it at auction and have completely gutted the entire first floor. It was built specifically to be a body art studio as opposed to when you have to work with what’s already existing. With over 17 years experience of having a shop in Worcester we went into this knowing every detail needed to make this place great.

We separated the areas for tattoo customers to choose their design from the body jewelry store and the waiting room. In our previous shops all three were combined. Now the jewelry store has its own room. The jewelry store is the largest in New England. We carry just about everything in all price ranges. We put in a new carpet, bought all new front opening showcases and hung a 42” TV on the wall. The area for tattoo clients to choose their design has one wall with tattoo flash racks and two computer stations for customer use. You can search the Internet for the unlimited supply of flash the world has to offer and simply hit print. Any of our artists can do your design brilliantly or custom draw a design for you. There are two side by side offices, a business office and an artist’s office. We made the old kitchenette a cleaning room. The bathroom was outdated so we put in a new floor, a new sink and toilet with a Brill Sanitary seat. This is a hospital seat that changes a plastic seat cover over the entire seat between each use. We added a baby changing station for your convenience. We do not encourage children in the shop but if you must bring them while you shop we want you have what you need to care for them. We also have a small children’s play area. We would rather their hands on the toys than on our jewelry showcases. The staff has a break room with kitchen table, fridge and microwave. They also have a drawing area so their drawing materials stay out of the sanitary work rooms.

 There are 5 rooms down the left side. The first is the sterilization room where we keep the autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, sterilization materials, an emergency eye wash station and sink. Next is the piercing room then three tattoo rooms. The four artist rooms are identical except the piercing room furniture is different. Each artist room has a 26” flat screen TV on the wall. They are completely private, heated and have central air conditioning. They have beautiful clear glass counter top, designer vessel sinks with waterfall water spout. The piercing room has a nice new hydraulic piercing chair. The tattoo rooms have TATSoul top of the line client chairs for your utmost comfort. All rooms have TATSoul artists chairs built to tilt forward with the artist reducing circulation problems in the legs and back discomfort. We want our artists comfortable! Every room in the building is equipped with a spring water dispenser!

Our break room is HUGE and FUN! Lots of seating! A station for coffee, tea and hot chocolate! We wanted our waiting room to be different, to really stand out and give you something to do while you wait for an appointment or while your friends wait for you. We really wanted this to be a place for people to gather and have fun. So we made it a combination waiting room video arcade!!! A 50” flat screen TV hangs on the wall set up with a wii and all sorts of games. There is a coffee table video arcade with 50 games to choose from! There is a basketball game that keeps score, a skateboard simulating game, an electronic dart game and a skeeball machine. The basketball game and skeeball both dispense tickets. You can save them up and use them for discounts on tattoos, piercings, jewelry and aftercare products!

There are new tiled floors throughout, we chose a classy black and brown. The wall colors are a light green and light orange. They’re modern colors that are cheery, clean and comfortable but also seem to have a calming soothing effect.

We have a handicapped entrance on the right side of our building. We replaced all of the windows.

We still have to build a new porch and paint the front of the building. But unfortunately it’s cold very early this year and we’ve run out of time. So, please bear with our paint chipped façade through the winter.

It’s been a long hard road but we’re finally home! We can’t thank all of you enough for your loyalty, trust and support throughout the years! This is because of you and for you!

We also have a great space upstairs! We’re not sure exactly what we’ll do with it yet. It may be available for rent as office space or for other services if anyone has ideas for adding to our shop.
